Elektro-Kontakt joint venture is the largest manufacturer of electro-technical products in the Republic of Croatia. During almost 80 years of its experience, this factory has been highly effective in different social and economical systems, prooving its flexibility and vitality many times.Main production programmes are electro-installation material and components for household appliances, and the main programme orientation is cooperation with complementary foreign companies.

In 1969 Elektro-kontakt began its cooperation with company E.G.O and the first common investment contract was made in 1973.In 1992 Elektro-Kontakt became a joint venture company and E.G.O the major shareholder.

Nowadays, Elektro-kontakt is a company with 1400 employees, located in Zagreb. Total revenue amounts to about 70 mio EUR, 90% out of which is achieved by export. Each day, more than 150.000 products are exported to Wetest European mark. Using all advantages that international cooperation offers, Elektro-Kontakt has achieved a level of competitiveness that enables covering of 35% of world market request for various regulation components for electrical appliances.

Constant investment in technical and technological development, use of latest network organization, personnel education, quality requirements complying with latest ISO standards, protection at work, enviromental protection and high degree of social responsability are major points of business policy which has been constantly implemented.
